Landscapes for Landsake

  • Maple Ridge 172 County Route 372 Cambridge, (map)

So excited to have 10 paintings accepted for the Landscapes for Landsake Show. Please join me for the best landscape show of the season!

The Agricultural Stewardship Association’s Landscapes for Landsake is an annual art exhibition that celebrates both the agricultural heritage and stunning landscapes of the Upper Hudson Valley.  Now in its 17th year, the show is the region’s largest art buying event of the season. It draws thousands of visitors from all over the country, from professionals (gallery owners and museum curators) to art lovers of all ages.

The 2-day event is held every Columbus Day weekend in the magnificent 19th-century post and beam barn at Maple Ridge, a historic estate just west of Cambridge, NY.  Last year’s exhibit features the work of 47 artists, chosen by a jury from 60 applicants.  Many of the featured artists, including Harry Orlyk, Leslie Parke, Virginia MacNeice, Leslie Peck and George Van Hook, are internationally recognized painters.  There is also a strong representation of works in other media, including sculpture, ceramics, photography, and furniture.

Besides its prominence on the social calendar, Landscapes for Landsake is the largest fundraiser for ASA, with participating artists donating 50% of the purchase price of their works to ASA.
